SO here's how my day went. Larry is out of meds. 3 days early. Not 2 weeks, 3 days! Because it's cold and he's had to take more than normal. So wait, here's the good part. THE VA IS REFUSING LARRY MEDICATION! YEP, that's right folks. AGAIN he gets treated like a drug addict because NO ONE WILL LISTEN WHEN HE SAYS HE'S HURTING AND THE PAIN MEDICATION ISN'T WORKING ANYMORE! NOPE. He's being treated like an addict and they don't care. His doctor didn't listen to him the last time we were in her office and told her that the meds weren't working anymore. NOTHING. They told him to just wait it out or go to the ER. The ER on the other hand won't give him any pain meds because he signed that pain contract-because apparently signing that contract makes the meds work better.
WHO IS GOING TO STAND UP FOR THESE SOLDIERS??? WHO IS GOING TO CARE ENOUGH TO LOOK DEEP ENOUGH INTO THE PATIENT'S FILE AND SEE HOW MUCH THEY ARE HURTING???? NO ONE CARES! AND THE WONDER WHY THESE SOLDIERS ARE COMMITTING SUICIDE!!!! HELLOOOOOO!!!!!
