Veteran's Day

You woke up this morning, took a hot shower, chose your clothes. Ate some breakfast, and got ready for work, or school. You might have a spouse or partner. Got in your car, made a call on your cell phone. Maybe posted something on twitter...updated your status on facebook. Made plans for the evening to hang out with some friends.

You did all of this because you have the ability to make those choices. And you have that ability because of the Veterans of the past and present...the military men and women that continue to serve. Because they chose to defend your freedom. Because they put their lives on the line to ensure that you have those choices. And some of them gave their lives for it.

Remember that these men and women are fighting for you 24/7/365. Not just on 11/11/11. Remember them every day, not just today. Their battles go far beyond the battlefield. Remember their families. Those that support them through everything. Those that take care of them, mourn their loss. Remember that they don't choose their battles...they only swear to defend your freedoms.

Thank a veteran today...remember them every day.
